Plug Valves are widely used in oilfield mining, transportation and refining equipment. They are also widely used in petrochemical, chemical, coal gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, HVAC industry and general industry.
Classification and characteristics
1. Plug valves can be divided into four types according to the structural form: tight-fitting plug valves, self-sealing plug valves, plug valves and oil-filled plug valves. According to the channel form, they can be divided into three types: straight-through plug valves, three-way plug valves and four-way plug valves.

Soft-sealed plug valves are often used in harsh environments such as corrosive, highly toxic and highly hazardous media, occasions where leakage is strictly prohibited, and occasions where valve materials will not pollute the media. The valve body can be made of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel according to the working medium.
A. According to the use temperature and working medium, self-lubricating material bushings such as F4, F46, PVDF, PP, PO, PE, etc. can be used, which have good lubrication, small friction coefficient of the sealing pair during the entire working process, flexible operation of the plug body and long service life.
B. The valve body inlet and outlet window design and double groove sealing ring structure, the sealing pressure ratio between the sealing pairs gradually changes during the rotation of the plug, until it reaches the fully open or fully closed position, generating sufficient sealing pressure ratio, and the sealing pair reaches zero leakage.
C. The double groove sealing ring can not only make the bushing stable in the valve body without displacement, but also absorb the slight deformation of the bushing caused by temperature difference changes. At the same time, strong friction is generated between the bushing and the plug, which has an automatic cleaning effect and improves the service life of the sealing surface.
D. The unique reverse lip seal design on the top of the plunger uses a soft sealing material diaphragm and a metal diaphragm and an adjustment gasket to adjust the sealing pressure ratio between the sealing surfaces, making the plug rotate flexibly, and ensuring the sealing of the inlet, outlet and middle flange connection ends.
E. Suitable for gas-solid and liquid-solid phase media with high scouring properties. Such as PVC, urea, acetic anhydride, caustic soda production equipment, or media with high external leakage requirements, such as HF, phosgene, etc.
F. The medium can flow in both directions, the installation direction is not restricted, and online maintenance is realized, which is more convenient to use.
